Port Harcourt — The Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA) has agreed to the position of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) on the suspension of Justice Ayo Salami as President of the Court of Appeal, as well as its (NBA's) decision to boycott activities of the National Judicial Council (NJC).
The President of the CLA, Mrs. Boma Ozobia, who spoke to our correspondent yesterday, said described the NJC's action as destructive and unacceptable.
"The Commonwealth Lawyers Association would be issuing a statement before the programme ends. Nigeria is a member of that association and we are fully in support of the Nigerian Bar Association's stand and decision on this issue".
