DHL awarded as best logistics provider

MANILA, Philippines - The Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines or SCMAP has recognized the logistics company DHL Supply Chain Philippines as the year’s best logistics provider.
This was learned on Wednesday in a briefing the company hosted for business reporters at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.The SCMAP recognition ceremonies were held for the first time only recently and DHL was its first recipient.
DHL Supply Chain Philippines is one of four logistics services the globally recognizable brand offers to clients that in the Philippines include the SM Group, the Watsons chain of retail stores and the direct-selling personal care company Avon Philippines, among others.
“Winning the award, after going through a rigorous scrutiny of supply chain practitioners from the country’s leading multinational corporations and conglomerates, is an affirmation of our capability to provide excellent logistics solutions and services in the Philippines,” Olive Ramos, country manager of DHL Supply Chain Philippines, said.
